Stopped and visited with Ken 9/08/04.  He said might have some water later.  He called that afternoon and said I could run the small sprinkler and he would call when to shut it off.  Decided to attempt to read the meter.  Appears I am the only user on the pipe (our "ditch").

Had turned on West Sprinkler so this reading 15 to 25 minutes stale. Of this "got the water" usage.

Big jump in consumption, Chuck has BigGun going and Mom is watering garden and lawn.
Appears with one look and a rough estimate that Chuck is using around 100 gal/min if Mom is as estimated yesterday using about 10.  (That's looking at it quickly without much data) This estimate will increase as it assumes Chuck turned BG on around 7 this morning.  Turned Mom's water off around 1900.

Drastic change, one thinks mistake - if not, the Big Gun is using 123.2 gallons per minute be ITSELF!!!
West SR and the BG may be using nearly same amount of water - something to discern when opportunity presents itself.
Used BG this morning couple hours, and got the East SR going around 0900.

East SR and West SR and BG and Chuck's BG and Mom watering yard with garden hoses.  High end normal usage.  Once I attempted to replace valve opener by "bleeding of pressure" opened several valves free flowing.  That caused some 15,000 gallons usage in small time ( before I was into the "meter-compulsion-business") so gpm was not deducted.  This is a very high usage on our pipe.
After the above reading shut down West SR.  Running BG and East over night.  Garden/Yard off.
327,000 gallons / 847 minutes
386.1 gallons per minute
Note:No evening hrs water change
BG runs around 140 gpm according to the above trial

Added 3 sprinklers to East BG right at dark so gpm reading on 9/22 will increase morning and be "accurate" increase by evening

post above reading noted Chuck is off: next reading will be only the East SR.  Nothing else running.  It will be off tomorrow morning.  Will take two pics: before shutting off and after it is off.
Last pic water is off and had been off since 0930 hrs
Chuck is running riser on ground, no BG.  Will get another reading to determine how much he is putting out.  Need a feel for usage, care not what is being used as he is only one watering.

Seems low, looked at Chucks Valve and it seemed to flow more than that, perhaps it has been off sometime over the time period.
do the math later?
do math later
do math later???
Can do the math in my head!!!  Nothing zip, zilch and not a drop !!!!
But, note the gallons per minute gauge reads 250 gallons per minute flow when flow is zero!
This reads121, 269
Chuck is still running alittle water.
Flow Meter seems to be stuck... but will get pic tomorrow and determine if there is any flow.  Did not see any water usage.
